Dr Chua Chi Siong is the Medical Director and a Senior Consultant of Jurong Community Hospital.
A graduate from the National University of Singapore, Dr Chua has a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) and was elected to the fellowship of the College of Family Physician Singapore in 2004. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology (NUS), a Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine (NUS), and a Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and Leadership (SMU).
Dr Chua has special interests in Post-acute Care and Family Medicine, Clinical Quality, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Education.
Apart from clinical and management roles, Dr Chua is also a trainer for JurongHealth Campus’ courses for clinicians, such as Patient Safety Workshop and Open Disclosure Course. Being a family physician by training, Dr Chua is also involved in Family Medicine teaching at various levels. He is an examiner for MMed (Family Medicine) and also the chairman of JurongHealth Campus' Falls Safety Sub-committee, which oversees prevention, monitoring and management of falls in patients.
