Biosketch

Dr Tony Li is presently a Associate Consultant with the Department of Cardiology, National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) and Department of Cardiology at NUHCS @ Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).

Dr Li graduated with graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2015. He underwent Internal Medicine Residency Training at National University Hospital where he was conferred the Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore and obtained his Membership at the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2021. He went on to complete the Cardiology Residency Programme at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) in 2024.

Dr Li is currently pursuing his subspecialty training in the field of Advanced Heart Failure. Besides heart failure, Dr Li's other subspecialty interests include cardiomyopathies (including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, cardiac sarcoidosis) and inherited cardiac conditions. 

Dr Li is active in clinical research and medical education. His research interests are in the fields of cardiomyopathy, heart failure, cardiac imaging as well as medical and device innovation. He also has an interest in medical education, and holds an appointment as clinical lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in NUS.
